Anger is Okay
Be angry and do not sin. Meditate within your heart and be still. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord. Psalm 4:4-5
Anger is an honest, God-given emotion. It is part of who we are and who God made us. That being said, it can cause the most harm of any emotion.
Let's be real, there are people and situations that make our blood boil, and the more we think about it, the angrier we get. This is perfectly normal. It's how we handle anger that will tip the scales one way or the other.
Let's look at these verses. It's okay to be angry, but it's not okay to cause harm or damage to whoever or whatever is causing your anger. It's okay to think about it (meditate), but don't rehearse the issue to those around you. Now let it go by giving the whole thing to God and trust Him to take care of it. By doing this last step, it's officially no longer your problem- LET IT GO!
