The Greatest Victories

Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy. Colossians 1:11

When I think of God working in people, I automatically go to battle victories, faith stands, great healings, and miracles. Rarely do I go to patience and longsuffering. Who am I kidding, I never go there! And yet looking back, I clearly see God's hand in the patience and endurance I went through when coming back from cancer. There were times when I couldn't see complete healing in my body. In those times, great victories weren't in my thinking. It was all I could do to simply put one foot in front of the other. Don't get me wrong, I knew I was healed but I couldn't see any evidence of it.

The greatest victory of all time looked like the greatest defeat. Jesus endured the cross for our victory. He suffered unimaginable horrors in hell so we would never have to. Our greatest victories can come through our darkest moments. Don't make the mistake of ignoring the power found in patience and endurance.
