Going the Extra Mile

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Galatians 5:7

We saw in Ephesians 3:20 how God is so willing to go the extra mile on our behalf. Now it's our turn. We have this expectation that everyone should do their best where we are concerned, when we don't always expect the best out of ourselves. We need to develop an attitude of excellence in ourselves. I'm not talking about becoming a workaholic or a slave to a job. This has everything to do with developing character. This could show up in ways as simple as putting tools away or cleaning up after yourself. The Bible calls this being faithful in the little things. If you want to be surrounded by excellence everywhere you go, then sow excellence in everything you do.
