Bringing Glory to God

…Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. Romans 12:16b

People like to glory in the things they possess, their education, and their rank or position. According to the Bible those are high things not to be associated with. Now I'm not saying not to have a good education. Everyone needs an education, but not everyone needs a college degree. Everyone pretty much needs transportation of some kind, but you don't need big payments. Everyone needs a job, but don't use that position as a platform to put other people down.

I have met a few people who are wise according to themselves and they can be pretty hard to deal with. Everything we do and say, along with our possessions ought to bring glory to God. If it doesn't, then something may need to be adjusted.
