I Can Do All Things

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

If God has called you to do something, He has already equipped you to do it. Too many people tell God they can't do what He has already said they could. That is one kind of "can do." The other one is situations we find ourselves in that are beyond what we in ourselves can do.

A case in point was something I found myself in a couple of years ago. I was having an MRI. This particular scan required my head to be perfectly still for twenty minutes, the duration of the scan. To accomplish this, my head was placed in a literal cage that was so close to my face my nose touched it. I could feel panic setting in. I was given a button to push if I needed out. Coming out would mean I would have to go back in and finish the test. I stayed in that thing for the twenty minutes without coming out. How did I do it? I stayed IN CHRIST!

Jesus is the word, so when you quote the Word, you are in Christ. I quoted scripture after scripture for the whole twenty minutes, and I saw this verse come alive at that moment. God will always honor His Word.
