Wisdom of the Word
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom… Colossians 3.16a
It's good and right to know the word and we should know it. However, just reading the word for the sake of reading it doesn't do much good. But if you read it and study it, letting it fill you, it begins to dwell in you. Once that happens you start to see the world through the filter of the word.
Getting to this point is great, and to be honest, there aren't that many Christians that get to this place. But this isn't the place where you can say "you have arrived ". In fact, this is really the starting point of being an effective Christian.
The next step is to get wisdom to use the knowledge you have worked so hard to acquire. The thing is, if the Word can be rightly used, it can also be wrongly used, and that is why wisdom is so important. If you use your knowledge of the Word to seek approval from man, that's not wise. If you use the knowledge you have acquired to bless and build up others, that is wisdom in action.
