Church Vs THE Church

"To the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places." Ephesians 3:10

There is church, and there is The Church. One is a place of social gatherings, the other is the platform from which the presence and will of God are made known to the world. God is many-sided, meaning there are many ways God wants to work in this world. The one thing God is not is autonomous. He is not in heaven doing His thing while we do our thing.

He chose to work here on earth through His church. The only way for God to get things done is when we do them. We, as the body of Christ, need to be skilled at spiritual warfare. Our mission is to be the power of God to those around us. Our job is to love men but be brutal when it comes to the powers of darkness. Take spiritual authority over your area of influence and see what a difference you make in the space around you.
