Real vs Fake Lion

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." 1 Peter 5:8

"But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David has prevailed...." Revelation 5:5a

I really don't like wasting my time on satan, but I feel impressed to expose him and his ways. To that end, I will spend some time here doing just that. Jesus is a Lion, and satan pretends to be a lion. Jesus is all-powerful, and satan wants to be acknowledged as all-powerful.

I grew up in church believing that God and satan had about the same power. I knew God would win in the end because that's what the Bible says, but it would be a hard-fought battle up to that point. Nothing could be further from the truth. God doesn't win at the end, He won at the beginning! That perspective is important to keep in mind. 

I need to correct something from yesterday. I wrote that God will take care of your fear. God HAS taken care of your fear! His provision has always been and always will be. Sorry about any confusion.
