Capitalize on a Bad Situation
"A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished." Proverbs 28:20
In review: God's direction for financial success and the world's way are totally opposite of each other. And as I said yesterday, money is the lowest form of wealth measurement, but it's the number one way the world measures wealth. In order to win, someone has to lose. I found this out the hard way in the corporate world.
God works by increasing and elevating everyone.
Where faith comes in is staying connected to what the word says, even when it seems like nothing is working.
Isaac stayed connected to what God said even when everything in the natural wasn’t working. You know the story: there was a famine, and nothing would grow. We tend to think about people in the Bible being special people who God worked through in unusual ways. WRONG!! They were people just like us with the same hang-ups and insecurities. Isaac was able to capitalize on a bad situation because he acted on what God said.
