Do Not Compromise
I've seen this one play out time after time. Everyone I've ever known who got into this predicament did so with the the full intention of bringing the other person up. Instead, the reverse happened. They wound up bringing the the person with good intentions down to their level.
Compromising your moral position is not an effective evangelistic tool. If it was a tried and true method, I can assure you the Bible would give clear direction on being successful at it. After all, winning the lost is our number one priority. Our second priority is to build up other believers.
There is another verse that would seem to contradict this one. In 1 Corinthians 9:20-23, Paul talks about becoming all things to all people. At no point did he compromise who he was.
