Knowledge at 50%

You can't separate wisdom and knowledge. They go hand in hand and complement each other when used right. Sad to say, most people don't use knowledge right.

Let's back up a bit. Wisdom is God's word. When you read the Bible, you are literally reading His wisdom stored up just for you! The more you read and study, the more you understand. The more time you spend doing this, the more your heart begins to become one with God's. You start to think the way He thinks, and you begin to speak the way He speaks.

One way God speaks is to speak the answer, not the problem. This can be a real challenge for every one of us because, as humans, we are trained to speak the problem, not the answer. We gravitate towards the negative, not the positive. Here's a little example: do you call a traffic light a stop light? The truth is, it's a go light as much as it is a stop light, so calling it a stoplight is only 50% correct.

This may seem insignificant and kind of stupid, but do you get the point of this verse? Are you satisfied with being knowledgeable 50% of the time, or do you want to be right 100%? This little example isn't going to change your world one way or the other. However, if you are facing a major illness or financial crisis, speaking the right words may well be life and death.
