Meditation

How do our words and our heart meditations find acceptance with God? My other question is, "Why doesn't this verse mention thoughts?" Interesting, huh?

The answer is quite simple, actually. God's word supplies the words to say and meditate. Speaking God's word back to Him is the most perfect thing we can do. It is perfect praise. Meditating the word is simply mulling the word over and over, just letting it roll around, getting every perspective on it, seeing it from every angle. Meditating the word in your spirit gets your mind involved in a very controlled way.

Does anyone besides me ever have trouble with a wandering mind? That's why the mind isn't mentioned in this verse. It tends to not stay on task very well.

Meditating the word allows it to get into every fiber of our being. That's when results start to happen!
