As a teacher, the Valentine festivities were rampant yesterday. To add to these festivities, I played a singing bee game with my music students using well known love themed songs. One of the songs I used was Tina Turner’s song, “What’s Love Got to Do With It.” So, it got me thinking what does love have to do with it - ‘it’ meaning life in general? The answer would be everything!

Change is a good thing. It keeps things fresh and creativity flowing. As I mentioned, I cut my hair 6-inches which is a noticeable change. However, there is 12-inch change that you can make that will change your whole life. That change is bringing God and His Word from head knowledge to heart knowledge.

In life it seems that we are in one test after another. We make choices everyday from what we will wear and eat to more hefty decisions at work or concerning a loved one. Although some choices don’t seem to matter much, there are a lot of decisions made that have a big impact on ourselves and those we come in contact with.
