Peace In Action

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

It's easy to get worked up these days. People do a lot of dumb things under the guise of intelligence. The Bible is very clear that the whole world lies under the sway of the devil. His one mission is to steal, kill, or destroy the plan of God at every turn. The good news is that he is no match for our God. For every evil plot satan comes up with, God has a way out of it.

One of the weapons God uses is peace. Peace will guard our hearts and minds against everything satan throws at us. The peace of God put into action, will beat anything that comes against you. The perfect example of peace in action is Jesus. No matter how ugly things got around Him, He never let those things interfere with His mission.

We also have a mission, which is to spread the knowledge of God everywhere we go. God has more weapons available to us than the enemy has. We have so much peace available to us that no anxiety, no fear, no anger, or hatred is any match at all against it. We spend so much time focusing on what is coming against us. Perhaps a better use of our time would be to focus on what is coming out of us.
