Your Results Are In Your Mouth

A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth. Proverbs 12:14

There is a law that God put into place that says, "Everything produces after its kind.” (Genesis 1:25) Everything God created started with words. "God said, and it was so." Our words are creative as well. Everything you have today and everything you are, are a direct result of what you spoke in the past.

Each time you speak, you are releasing seed. You can't get good results for yourself by speaking badly about others. A man is satisfied with good by speaking good. Don't expect other people to say nice things about you if you aren't saying nice things about other people. I have become a student of the words people speak and the life they live. People that speak negative words are not happy people.

I know people who have had their whole day ruined by a flat tire. A flat tire is most certainly an inconvenience, but that's all it is. I've listened to these people, and the words they spoke about the flat tire consumed the rest of their day. As if that's not enough, they drag it into the following days as well. Let's face it, things are going to happen that we don't like. The choice is, are you going to give it life or are you going to weed it out? It all depends on what you say.
