Knowledge the Right Way

The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness. Proverbs 15:2

Knowledge is wonderful if it is used to educate, lead, guide, or share. In the world we live in today, knowledge is used to promote a certain belief or manipulate a response.

The best example of someone using knowledge right is Jesus. His knowledge didn't come from a university, it came from spending time with His Father. Jesus used knowledge to set people free, not put them into bondage. He never used Knowledge to manipulate a response.

The sad part of this verse is, if knowledge can be used in a right way, it can also be used in a wrong way. Whenever I hear someone in a position of authority say something, I run it through the filter of the Word. If what someone is saying doesn't agree with what God says, then there really isn't much to listen to.
