This Little Light of Mine

God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5b

Light displaces darkness because there is no darkness in light. There is some darkness where there isn't complete light. The lights in our house are tied to dimmer switches to set light at different levels. Because light travels in a straight line, shadows form if light is blocked. So much for today's science lesson.

God is light. He is complete and total light in every facet. When Moses spent time in God's presence, he himself shined so bright his face had to be covered. Heaven is filled with God's light, or glory, and so are you and I. You and I were designed to be light wherever we go and in whatever we do. When God is in us, His light shines through us and stops the darkness around us. Let your light shine bright today!
