God's Delight in You

As for the saints who are on the earth, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight. Psalm 16:3

If there were just two things I could ever convey to anyone, they would be

1) You are a saint

and,

2) God delights in you

We tend to see all our shortcomings and base our relationship with God on how we see ourselves. Consequently, we go through life wondering how God can love us, and we develop an image of ourselves that just doesn't exist. God sees us through the filter of His love and the blood of Jesus.

When Jesus was baptized and came up out of the water, God said, "This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased!"  Up to this point, Jesus hadn't done anything great, no ministry, no miracles, and no teaching, and yet God was pleased with Him! God delights in you, too! He is well-pleased with you, even though you may not feel like you do much for Him. You are you and He loves you!
