The Name YHWH

....He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. Revelation 19:12b

When Jesus completed His requirements for the redemption of man, He sat down at God's right hand, and God gave Him His name. His name is YHWH. No one has a clue how to pronounce it. When the Jewish scribes first started copying the scriptures, they knew how to pronounce it. They treated that name with such reverence that they would actually bathe before writing it, and they wouldn't speak it. Over time, the pronunciation was lost.

Revelation 19:12 speaks of Jesus' return and that name written on Him. There is a day coming when we will have access to that name. Until that time, we have been given access to the name of Jesus to use freely. How great to have the right to use the name of Jesus for any situation we come across! That name is more than enough to cover anything we get ourselves into, and every demon in hell joining forces are no match for the power contained in the name of Jesus, and it belongs to us!
