Making God Proud

The rich and the poor have this in common, the Lord is the maker of them all. Proverbs 22:2

This is another verse that has gotten misinterpreted by the church. I've heard this preached that God made some people rich and some poor totally at His discretion. First of all, God doesn't make some people rich and some people poor. He makes people! He gives each and every one of us the tools we need, found in His word, to be a success.

What makes God a proud "Papa" is to see His children taking His word and living it out in all areas of our lives. Want to make God proud? Take His word and apply it in every area of your life and follow His leading. He'll take you places you never thought possible!
