Don't Believe The Lie
And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie. 2 Thessalonians 2:11
There is a lie and then there is the lie. God doesn't send strong delusion against every lie. If that were the case, we all would be living in deception. This verse is talking about a very specific event, the revealing of the Antichrist. He will be coming with all kinds of answers for bringing the world into unity. He's going to be so good at it that even Christians will be drawn to him.
This is why it is so important to know God as opposed to knowing about God. The Bible is specific on this point – God will send strong delusion to the people who believe the Antichrist is God so that they only believe he is God. For these people, unfortunately, there is no hope of salvation because they already will believe they are serving the true God. Those of us who truly serve Jesus will be counted as sinners, if we are still here. The delusion will be so strong that killing Christians will be considered doing "God's " work. On the flip side of this, Jesus' revealing to His church, the power and anointing that we get to walk in, will be so great that nothing can compare to it!
