Your Closest Friend

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and will be opened to you! Matthew 7:7

God wants us to interact with Him. He wants fellowship. He wants us to be comfortable in His presence. Too often, we hold God at a distance because we are afraid of Him. He wants our attention, our worship, our love, our conversation. What He doesn't want is for us to be afraid of Him.

I think of Moses. He had such a close relationship with God that he would listen to God, and God would listen to him. They had a friendship with one another. That is what God desires with each and every one of us. Think of your closest friends. You would do anything for them and they would do anything for you. It's the same with God. Get to know Him.
