Touching Jesus

And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction." Mark 5:34

Part 1

This is such a remarkable account. First off, this is the only recording of someone receiving from Jesus without Him knowing beforehand. There are so many things going on in this verse that I won't get them all in today. This is where we will be for the next few days. Today, I want to point out that a lot of people touched Jesus that day. Only one, however, touched Him expecting to receive from Him. It's interesting to me how we use the sense of touch as bragging rights. That's exactly what it was for nearly everyone in that crowd that day. They went back to their families that day and told how they touched Jesus. The sad part here is they didn't let Jesus touch them. The whole crowd that day talked about touching Jesus after they did it. But there was one lady who talked about touching Jesus before she did it.
