Anything It Takes

And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be healed of your affliction." Mark 5:34

Part 4

This lady, without any training in the faith life, did everything right to be able to receive from Jesus. She made a confession statement and kept at it until a picture formed in her and she saw herself well. What had she heard about Jesus? She heard that people got healed when they had an encounter with Him. So, she heard and she spoke, and then she did. She didn't say "Oh Jesus, heal me!" and call it good. This lady was determined to be where Jesus was. Why did she confess about touching the hem of His robe? Quite possibly, she had to crawl. I remember when chemo ravaged my body, I couldn't walk very good so I crawled around the house. That was my mode of transportation for a short time, so I can easily picture this woman doing that. Also, there was a huge crowd that day and sometimes the best way to maneuver through a crowd is to "go low".
