Obstacles Or Opportunities

And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be healed of your affliction.” Mark 5:34

How many times do we let circumstances dictate the outcome? I would venture to say that this lady saw herself healed by walking up to Jesus and touching Him. Her thoughts were established by her words. She undoubtedly saw herself touching Jesus when she was awake, and dreaming it when she was asleep. The day came that Jesus was in town and it was now or never! How was she going to get to Jesus? He was surrounded by so many people, how was she supposed to get to Jesus? She was sick, weak, and frail, no match for that crowd. No one would have blamed her for giving up and going home.

There are going to be obstacles in every faith fight. There might be one reason why you can do it and ten reasons why you can't. This is why I think she went "low". No one else was crawling! Everyone in the crowd that day was wanting to see and touch Jesus. They weren't concerned about where their feet were. The circumstances surrounding your faith battle will present obstacles and opportunities. What are you going to focus on?
