Commit Your Way

Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:5

We all make plans, and we should. A person who wanders around without a plan is aimless, subject to whatever comes his way. When you make a plan, what do you do with it? Do you let God in on your plan? Do you get His input? Do you seek His advice?

The thing is, God is really smart. He knows His way around things you never would think of on your own. As you think about your day today, make a plan based on what you want to accomplish. Take that plan and submit it to God for tweaking and approval. Give Him permission to change anything in the plan. Once the plan has been approved by all parties involved, work the plan, knowing you will have success throughout your day.

The mistake we all make at times is we expect God to fulfill our plan without any input from Him. We have this expectation of Him stamping our plan 'approved' when He doesn't. Make God your partner today and see what happens.
