Is Healing For Me?

For all the promises of God in Him are Yea, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 2 Corinthians 1:20

How dumb would it be for God to say, "I will never leave you not forsake you,” then, turn around and leave for a while saying He needs a break from you? That's how many Christians view God. They see Him as a God who makes arbitrary decisions based on how He feels.

A lot of churches teach that God sometimes says yes and sometimes says no. Or the ever popular, "you never know what God will do." All you have to do is open your Bible and start reading. You can know exactly what He will do. God is not keeping things from you, He's keeping them for you.

Take healing for instance. Isaiah 53 tells the agony Jesus would go through. Every stripe He took from the whip was for our healing. God's provision for healing came through Jesus's sacrifice. That provision is good for every man, woman, and child on planet earth. Does everyone get healed? We know they don't. Does that mean God chose not to heal them? NO!! Now, I don't have an answer as to why everyone isn't instantly healed. I have experienced instant healing and it's great. But most of the time healing comes over time. I used my faith for healing where cancer was concerned, but I also had to use patience. Healing didn't come at once, it was a process that took a year with many steps involved. It was a battle every day but I never let go of God's promise for healing no matter how I felt. Hang on to what God has promised. He will not let you down, and He won't say no!
