The Way God Sees You

As for the saints who are on the earth, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight. Psalm 16:3

Most Christians don't see themselves as saints because they know their flaws, and saints are supposed to be perfect. That is religion talking. If God calls you a saint, then you are one!

The other part of this verse doesn't stir up much controversy- you are on the earth. Let this truth sink in; God delights in you! We spend way too much time trying to please God when He is already pleased. Look at yourself in a mirror and tell yourself that God is pleased with you. It may seem strange, but what you are doing is simply agreeing with what the word says. Over a short time, you will find yourself wanting to please God with every part of your life. When you mess up, you will pick yourself up, look in a mirror, and say, "I am the excellent one and God is pleased with me!" Repeat as many times as needed until you see yourself the way God sees you.
