We Are Not Puppets

For the ways of man are before the Lord, and He ponders all his paths. Proverbs 5:21

There is nothing you or I do that God doesn't see. He not only sees it, but He thinks about it. We look around at all the evil going on and wonder why God doesn't stop it. I've wondered the same thing. The truth is, He can't. To do that, God would have to violate His own authority.

He set man up to be a free moral agent, not a puppet. His desire is that man would worship Him because they want to, not because they have to. We look at all the sin going on and wonder why God doesn't stop it. God looks at all the sin going on and wonders why we don't put a stop to it. He has given us the assignment of spreading His presence to every nook and cranny of this world.

God has given us the authority over every demon in hell and even satan himself. We have the power to stop satan in his tracks, and yet he continues to tear this world apart. Who is God, the righteous Judge, going to judge? God longs to be involved in every aspect of life here, and we are His access point. How are we doing?
