"He satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's." Psalm 103:5
It is no secret that God wants to bless His people. Most of His blessings are connected to our saying. You've undoubtedly heard the phrase, "You will have what you say." Those words are true. God's word is full of good things to say. When we speak His word over our lives, all the resources of heaven are available to work on our behalf. One of the benefits of speaking God's words is renewed youth. The Bible says so right in this verse!
I don't know about you, but I want to get serious about speaking in line with what God says. One of the phrases I have to stop saying is, "I'm old!" That's easy to do when I'm looking at myself in the mirror. But if I want God's promise of renewed youth to work for me, then that is what I need to speak about. When I look in the mirror, I need to say, "Why Rick, you are looking so young today!" That may not be exactly what I see, but it's not a lie.
Anytime you speak in line with what God has said, you are speaking the truth, and He will honor His word spoken in faith.
