Peace in the End Days

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

Is there anyone that doesn't need more peace these days? Just how much peace does God have available for us? This verse tells us that there is more peace than there is understanding.

All my life, I have been told about the end times and how scary and evil it will be. Back in the 1960s, this was a hot topic. Every evangelist that came to our church painted a very scary picture of the last days. Not one of them ever said anything about us having more peace available than there was turmoil. They pretty much made Christians out to be cowards hiding out in caves.

I'm here to tell you that the more sin is revealed, the more God is revealed. There were a lot of books written about the end times in the 60s and 70s, and not one of them has been anywhere close to accurate. The worse things get, the more we need to keep ourselves under the shadow of the Almighty. That's where our protection and peace are.
