The Favor of God

"For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You surround him as with a shield." Psalm 5:12

Are you favor-conscious? Do you realize that God is prepared to move heaven and earth on your behalf? I decided a long time ago that I was God's favorite, but the truth is we are all His favorites. As His favorites, we should expect special attention, correct?

We are peculiar creatures. We think that being humble is like being nothing and that we really have no right to expect any kind of special treatment. That is not being humble; that is being stupid. Moses walked in the favor of God, but the children of Israel thought he was a serial overlord with an ego problem.  When you are getting ready for your day, look yourself in the mirror and say, "I have the favor of God today. All of heaven is working on my behalf. I have unlimited resources available to me as I need them to make my day a success."
