Be A Diligent Person

"As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, so is the lazy man to those who send him." Proverbs 10:26

I set myself up to be disappointed by a lazy person one time. Most people that don't get anything done are what I would call slackers. A truly lazy person has made the decision to get nothing done. My problem is I believe the best in people and that hope exists in everyone. Not in the lazy person.

I have only met one actual lazy person in my life, and honestly, that was one too many. Until I met him, I didn't know it was possible to go backward, leaving more things undone than you started with. The Bible talks a lot about diligence And the importance of being productive. In fact, Proverbs 12:27 calls diligence "man's precious possession." Diligent people are a joy to be around.
