What Spiritual Condition Are You In?

"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only." Matthew 24:36

Jesus is teaching His disciples here about the last days. The only one who knows when the end of this age will come is God Himself. This has to be the best-kept secret of all time. It amazes me how many people over the years have tried to solve this mystery. It is foolishness and a total waste of time. Our job is to be ready to go at all times.

I took this advice years ago, and it has worked very well. "Live each day like you are going to live for years to come, but be ready to go into eternity without advanced warning." I know people who were playing this game of wanting to be a Christian, but not until they had their "fun" first. That is such a dangerous game to play because eternity never ends, and there is no repentance there.

Whatever spiritual condition you are in going into eternity is what you will be for eternity.
