Don't Have To Seperate Yourself

"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." 1 John 1:7

I found myself in a place this week that was definitely less than wholesome, and I wasn't a bit concerned about "losing my Christianity". I heard a whole lot of swearing, but I wasn't tempted to swear. I saw some things I don't normally see. I was very much in the world but not of the world. For that moment in time, I was part of it without being a part of it.

I didn't have to separate myself outwardly because I was already separated on the inside. I was, and always am, aware of the light inside of me. This light on the inside made me able to fellowship and enjoy the moment without being fake about it. Jesus was a master at this. He never sinned, but He could enjoy being with people, whatever their station in life, without being judgmental or religious. I can truly say that I enjoyed my time this week. It was time well spent!
