Doesn't Make it Right

"These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you." 1 John 2:26

I was listening to a podcast the other day. The student involved in the debate was trying to get the lecturer to agree with his view that you can be any sex you choose to be or line up with. This young man was very confused but believed he was completely right. To be deceived is to believe that a lie is actually true.

God's word is truth. If you believe something, but what you believe is not supported by the word of God, then you may want to consider changing what you believe. On the other hand, if you hear something and don't know if it's right; run it by the word. Just because something is said loud and agreed on by several sources doesn't make it right.
