A New Creation

Did you know that when you accepted Jesus as Lord, you became a brand new creation that had never existed before! The old you, born with a sinful nature, died. You still have the same desires, and life for most of us really didn't change much.

The only way to be this new creation is to read, study, and apply the instructions found in the owner's manual(Bible) into your life. This is a lifelong process. I don't have it all yet myself, but there are some things I have nailed.

One of those things is not complaining (Philippians 2:14). I went through 2 years of cancer treatment and recovery without complaining. I consider that a major victory. There is nothing pleasant about cancer. The thing is, I had Philippians 2:14 embedded so deep in me that I couldn't complain even if I wanted to.

There are other areas that I'm not as skilled at, but they are works in progress. Learning this new creation and what it can do is a lifetime endeavor.
