Can’t Have Shortcuts!

Do you know it is possible to get lazy as Christians? Well, it is, and I am guilty as charged.

Faith and patience are known as the power twins because they work together. You can't have effective faith without patience. Simply put, faith is believing, and patience is standing.

After a few faith successes, it's possible to start having faith in our faith. We start to cut corners and not follow the prescription. We start quoting the word instead of reading it.

I was listening to a person speak one time, and they were saying how they didn't get sick anymore because of their faith in healing. It wasn't long before they were sick. What happened? They got sluggish. They started to believe in their faith and took their eyes off the word.

It is so important to always do what the word says instead of using shortcuts. Put your faith to work for you, and let patience do what it does so well.
