Hidden For Us

Sometimes, a verse contains so much information that you can't get it all in one sitting. Such is the case here. I honestly thought this was a 'one and done' verse, but that didn't happen.

The Bible is full of God's promises to us, which is part of our inheritance here on earth. Now, you would think that an inheritance would be ours to grab and go. So, if they are ours, why do we have to use faith and patience to gain access to them?

Here is the truth: God didn't hide them from us; he hid them for us. If we had easy access, then so would satan. He could steal them before we could use them. Because faith is required to access the promises, they are safe and secure, waiting for us to open them.

Faith and patience are our keys to unlocking the promises!
