Faith is a Muscle

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is , and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Hebrews 11:6

God is looking for people who will believe Him and take Him at His word. He is NOT looking for perfect people! Praise God, I qualify!

I was reading about the champions of faith found in Hebrews 11. I challenge you to take a few minutes to read this as well, starting at verse 8. This list includes at least two people who murdered someone, one who couldn't speak well but was tasked with leading 2,000,000 people, and a prostitute. If you haven't killed anyone lately or sold yourself for money, you are well qualified to be a faith giant.

Faith is like muscles. The more you use it, the stronger it gets. Start out simple. If you have a little trouble getting up in the morning, start exercising your faith in that area. Don't concern yourself with failures; you will experience some. Just keep going and build those faith muscles.
