God is not Corrupt

"Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death." Proverbs 11:4

Some people seem to move through life, buying their way out of trouble. I'll be honest; I have a problem with this. To use an old expression, "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time." Some people are always looking for a shortcut out of the jam they made for themselves. What is even worse, however, is the person who encourages this behavior by accepting some kind of payment for 'looking the other way'. That is called corruption!

God is not corrupt in any way, shape, or form. The Bible is very clear that there is only one way to heaven- accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. There will be people who will try to get to heaven through good works. There will be some who try to buy their way in, and there will be some that may try to sneak in.

God is righteous, and only the righteous will get in. But you know what? If you have accepted Jesus into your heart, you are righteous because isn't based on what you have done; it's because of what Jesus did!
