Hours in the Day

"My son[daughter], do not forget My law, but let your heart keep My commands; For length of days and long life and peace they will add to you." Proverbs 3:1&2

When I was studying this, the phrase that jumped out at me was "for length of days". How many times have you heard someone say, or said yourself, "There's just not enough hours in the day." 

When God finished creation, He looked at everything and said, "It is good!" He didn't make any mistakes, including the hours in a day. The key to having plenty of time is found in the first sentence, "Do not forget my law!"

I like to make lists. Who am I kidding? I don't like making lists! However, a list does help prioritize a day. Don't stop there, though. Present your list to God and cover it with His word. Time spent with Him is never wasted time. It is the most valuable time in your day. An interesting thing will happen, you will eventually end up with more day than projects as you faithfully continue applying this principle.
