Lazy Faith?

"For all the promises of God in Him(Jesus) are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God." 2 Corinthians 1:20

There is a saying that goes, "Faith begins where the will of God is known." This is true, so what is the will of God?

Every promise in the Bible is His expressed will for each and every one of us. So, if all the promises of God are His will for us, why don't we automatically have them? That's a good question, and the answer is they are accessed by using our faith.

You see, God has hidden His promises for us. We have an enemy who is always trying to steal the word from us, so God hid the word for us to find and access by using our faith. Think of it this way; Faith is the key we possess to access the promises. Satan does not possess this key, so there is no way he can steal the word before we have it. He is able to steal the word from us; however, if we get careless or lazy with the word we have accessed.
