No Compliment

"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all." Isaiah 53:6

I've come to the conclusion that sheep don't think things through very well. I have been around them most of my life and haven't found a smart one yet. The best I can say is some may not be quite as dumb as others. I have seen them get stuck in the strangest places. I have seen them actually die because they were stuck, and the whole time, all they had to do was turn around.

It is no compliment to the human race to be compared to sheep. God never tried to straighten out the sheep, He gave them a Shepherd. God not only gave us Jesus to lead us to Him, He made Jesus personally responsible for our sin. To not follow Jesus is a rejection of the goodness of God.
