Position of Victory

Israel was facing some enemies that had joined together for the express purpose of wiping Israel off the map. This is one of my favorite passages in the whole Bible. The first thing Jehoshaphat did was inquire of God. He knew they didn't stand a chance in the natural. They got into worship and seeking God, and they stayed at it until they got direction from God.

I think sometimes we bail in seeking God way too soon. Notice here that Israel didn't look for skilled warriors but skilled praisers. God took over the battle when the praises started. Maybe there is a lesson here for all of us today.

Instead of trying to figure things out, seek God. There is no problem too big for Him and no issue He can't solve. We spend way too much time fretting and worrying.

All of Israel was flat on their faces, seeking and worshiping God. That was their position for victory. A person who has learned to operate from a position of worship is the most powerful force there is!
