Put Action to God’s Promise

How many times have you heard the statement, "Sometimes God says yes and sometimes He says no!" That is a religious statement that has no truth in it. I might as well come out and say it; that statement is nothing but a lie! God doesn't hold anything back from any of His children of anything He has promised.

Take healing, for instance. God isn't picking and choosing who gets healed and who doesn't. 1 Peter 2:24 says, "By Whose stripes you were healed." That is all-inclusive, and the provision was made to you 2000 years before you were born.

I knew of a person who was injured in an accident and lost the use of his legs, confined to a wheelchair. He took this verse and started to see himself walking. He drug himself out of the wheelchair and fell down. He got back in the chair, stood up, and fell down. This scene was repeated over and over and over. He refused to give up or back down! Do you know that he took a step or two and did it again and again? He walked out of the place he was at, completely healed, never again using a wheelchair!

This man took God at His word, knowing that God's answer was YES! He put action to it and had his victory. That is the God we serve!!
