Don’t Neglect Our Part
This verse was written at a time when most people were farmers, which isn't the case today. However, the truth contained here applies to every situation and is not dependent on circumstances.
In the natural, conditions need to be right in order to achieve wealth. Not so with God. It is interesting to me that the Philippian church was the only church that had this concept nailed. They were a church of givers, and they were the only New Testament church without spiritual issues that needed to be dealt with.
So, how do you honor God with, say, your car? You take care of it! That brings honor to God. Sometimes it's easy to believe for a new vehicle while neglecting the one we have. We have this expectation for God to do His part when we neglect our part.
If you want to see God come through for you in a big way, be big on your part!
