Ready To Be Used

David was in trouble. Everywhere he turned, someone was trying to kill him. In my natural mind, it seems logical for God to send him people who could really help him. What he got instead was a bunch of people who needed help. I just love God's sense of humor. Instead of getting a bunch of mighty warriors, David was blessed with people who had their own problems they were running away from.

Out of this weird collection of people, a mighty army emerged that would help David become king of Israel. God doesn't need the best people; He's always looking for willing people.

There are people who are just oozing with natural talent who just won't yield to God's plan. And then there are people who have all kinds of challenges but who are ready to be used any way God sees fit. Those are the ones God is looking for.

Don't see yourself as someone whom God can't use or doesn't want. Present your life as a living sacrifice and see where God takes you.
