Standing in Faith

Standing fast in the faith is a war position. It is a position of no compromise. In 1 Samuel 23, we read about David's mighty men. These three men were extraordinary in skill and desire. One of them was named Shammah. He stationed himself in the middle of a bean field and defended it in spite of the fact that everyone else ran away. God brought about a major victory in spite of overwhelming odds.

In Ephesians chapter 6, we are told to put on the armor of God. Why? To stand, to hold our ground! Wrap your mind around this- when we put on the armor of God, satan doesn't see you or me; he sees Jesus! Remember this; it's not who you are; it's who He is. He just needs someone who is willing to make a stand!
