The Qualifier

I don't know about anyone else, but the whole idea of carrying out great exploits is fun to think about. But what is a great exploit? We don't all have the voice to preach to millions of people, and we can't all move to Africa.

The qualifier in this verse is 'those who know their God.' Most Christians don't meet this requirement. They love God, but they don't know God. They don't make an effort to just spend time with Him. The start of great exploits is knowing God.

To me, one of the greatest exploits possible is a single mom raising her kids. Raising champions for the Kingdom when you sometimes feel overwhelmed is one of the greatest exploits I can think of. The person whose world has collapsed yet they still minister to the needs of others, is doing great exploits. Sometimes, it involves putting one foot in front of the other when you really want to run away.

The more you know God and spend time with Him, the stronger you will be for whatever challenges you face.
